Manjul Tripathi, MCh, is an associate professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. His focus is on functional neurosurgery, Gamma knife radiosurgery, neuro-oncology, and neurotrauma. Currently, he is closely working on functional radiosurgery (pain procedures, movement disorders, and psychosurgery), stereotactic radiofrequency lesioning, DBS, and neurooncology.

He has authored more than 160 research articles, and 8 chapters in many books. His famed article on the dance moves of Michael Jackson was published in JNS Spine and was covered in more than 400 news papers worldwide. He has also translated “Why Fly Over The Cuckoo’s Nest: Psychosurgery in My Brain Please” by Antonio A F de Salles in Hindi for the Indian readers.
