Shungo began his career at Ciba-Geigy, now Novartis, and has since consistently worked in global healthcare companies. Since 2000, Shungo has served as Vice President at both Johnson & Johnson and Abbott, and President of Japanese subsidiaries of Laerdal and Novocure. He received his MBA in 1990 from IMD, a Swiss business school.
