Jinhua Yang, President of ZAP Surgical China since 2023, is a seasoned leader with over 40 years of senior management experience. She’s played a pivotal role in ZAP Surgical’s expansion into the Chinese market, navigating regulatory hurdles and establishing a strong regional presence. Jinhua’s expertise in business development and investor relations has been instrumental in driving growth and fostering partnerships.
With a bachelor’s degree from Renmin University of China and an MFA degree from UCLA, Jinhua brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her role. Her achievements include spearheading the establishment of ZAP’s Beijing office, leading NMPA licensing efforts, and building local infrastructure teams to support the Chinese market. Notably, she’s been instrumental in launching the ZAP-X platform in China and initiating a clinical research program at a prestigious psychiatric hospital.
