John R. Adler, Jr., MD

John R. Adler, Jr., MD is CEO of ZAP Surgical and a pioneer in modern radiosurgery. He has served on the faculty at Stanford University since 1987 and was appointed the Dorothy and TK Chan Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiation Oncology in 2007. Dr. Adler completed his neurosurgical education at Harvard, including a fellowship at the Karolinska Institute with Lars Leksell, the “father of radiosurgery,” and later invented the CyberKnife®, helping shape the evolution of image-guided cranial SRS worldwide.

Shabbar F. Danish, MD, FAANS

Shabbar F. Danish, MD, FAANS is Chair of Neurosurgery and Director of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. A board-certified neurosurgeon, he specializes in stereotactic radiosurgery and advanced minimally invasive therapies for brain tumors and epilepsy. Dr. Danish is widely published and leads clinical and academic efforts shaping next-generation cranial SRS.

Timothy Chen, MD

Timothy H. Chen, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist and Medical Director of the CNS program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and Director of Proton Therapy at Hackensack Meridian Health. His clinical focus includes CNS stereotactic radiosurgery and multidisciplinary cancer care. With decades of experience and published research, Dr. Chen brings a patient-centered perspective on improving precision, access, and efficiency in modern radiosurgery.

Hemmings Wu, MD, PhD

Hemmings Wu, MD, PhD is Chief Medical Officer at ZAP Surgical, bringing deep expertise across neurosurgery, neuroscience, and translational medical innovation. Internationally recognized for advancing novel brain-treatment technologies, he has published extensively and contributed to clinical and scientific leadership in complex neurological care. Dr. Wu supports the clinical evolution of next-generation, high-precision, non-radioactive cranial treatment platforms.
